A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support K-12 students in a school setting. This full-semester contract role provides an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse caseload across all grade levels. The position requires a Massachusetts license and offers immediate start through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
* Support speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
* Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster student communication development
* Assist in the preparation of therapy materials and organize treatment sessions
Qualifications:
* Valid Massachusetts SLPA license
* Experience working in a K-12 school environment preferred
* Bilingual candidates in Spanish or Portuguese are highly desired to support a diverse student population
* Ability to manage a full caseload effectively
* Strong communication and organizational skills
