As an ODA Inspector at Honeywell, in Hemel Hempstead, you will be responsible for supporting the outbound shipping operation, acting under the FAA Organisation Designation Authorisation (ODA) to ensure products meet strict airworthiness and regulatory requirements before shipment. Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be required to become a certified FAA ODA IUM. For this they will need to complete online training to maintain ODA certification for which full training and support will be given.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of aerospace products and work in line with FAA regulations and Honeywell Aerospace ODA procedures.
- Issue Airworthiness Certification (FAA 8130-3), complying with Federal Aviation Administration regulations and Honeywell Aerospace Quality systems requirements.
- Verify compliance to approved design data and airworthiness requirements.
- Ensure products are in a condition for safe operation prior to release and maintain full traceability and documentation accuracy.
- Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions.
- Previous experience from Honeywell Aerospace.
- Full and permanent right to work in the UK.
- Experience within aerospace or similar in an inspection capacity.
- Proven experience in inspection, quality, or aerospace environment.
- Strong understanding of product conformity and documentation control.
- High attention to detail with a quality and compliance mindset.
- Complete structured training to become a certified FAA Honeywell Aerospace ODA Inspection Unit Member (IUM).
