Solicitor - Agricultural Property - Bath - 4+ Years PQE
Location: Bath
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours per week, with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £64,000 to £78,000
A respected law firm is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate Solicitor with 4+ years' post-qualification experience to join its highly ranked Agricultural Property team in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a collaborative, client-focused environment, with clear progression opportunities for Senior Associates aspiring to Partnership.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of agricultural and rural property matters, including:
* Sale and purchase transactions, including strategic land development and secured lending
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships with farmers, landowners, and agri‑businesses
* Liaising with clients, agents, and other professionals
* Supporting a collaborative and ambitious team culture
* Maintaining high professional standards and compliance
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
* 4+ years PQE in agricultural or rural property law
* Strong technical and drafting skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Confidence in managing matters independently
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Commercial awareness and ability to support clients through legislative and market changes
* Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset
