IT Administrator & Technical Support role at Uniphar | Access

Overview: The role involves providing mostly Windows desktop support to a global and diverse user base. You will be a self-starter, self-assured, and work with a friendly, experienced team to deliver high quality 1st/2nd line support.


Responsibilities

* Provide 1st/2nd Line incident handling via telephone and/or desktop visit
* Use of ServiceDesk system to log requests and adhere to existing SLA
* Ownership of Onboarding life cycle (Technical)
* Client system configurations and hardware including networking
* System backup operations
* Patch management
* Endpoint Health state monitoring
* Effective document writing. Creating/ updating technical documents and procedures
* Third party vendor management


Essential Skills And Experience

* Excellent verbal and written communications
* Strong organisational skills and time management
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* 3+ years commercial experience within a technical client facing environment
* Excellent working knowledge & experience of Windows 10 & 11
* Microsoft Office Product Suites
* Office 365 Business
* Microsoft AD Administration including Group Policies
* Microsoft Teams
* LAN/ WAN/ WI-FI (802.1x) fundamentals
* Windows Device Patching Management
* Microsoft Intune, AutoPilot
* MDT Microsoft Deployment Services
* Windows BitLocker or equivalent
* Remote Client Support Zoho Assist
* VOIP Telephony / Mobile Phone deployment
* Mobile device management
* Antivirus/ Malware Endpoint protection
* Asset Management and Tracking
* ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus
* Veeam Backups, Veritas Backup Exec
* Managed Secure Print Services (PaperCut MF)
* Exposure to Cloud Services (MS Entra)
* Experience of Virtual Machines
* Experience in a regulated industry (Pharmaceuticals) would be advantageous
* Data protection & IT security principles are advantageous
* To carry out the relevant GDP SOPs as instructed by the RP of the Company.
