Balfor Education is currently recruiting for a qualified and enthusiastic Business & Economics Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Walsall from September 2026 until December 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Secondary Teacher or ECT looking for a long-term teaching role within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will teach Business Studies and Economics across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, helping students achieve strong academic progress and examination success.
Business & Economics Teacher Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging Business Studies and Economics lessons to KS4 and KS5 students
* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and learning standards
* Support the wider secondary school department when required
Requirements for This Secondary Teaching Role
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised UK teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics in UK secondary schools
* Strong subject knowledge at GCSE and A-Level
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
