Job Description As our next Kitchen Porter, you will: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Assist in the proper storage and rotation of food items to ensure freshness and minimise waste. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of storage areas, including refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage. Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain a clean and tidy workstation, including regular cleaning of floors, walls, and work surfaces. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients. Observe excellent food hygiene practice through the entire food chain from storage through to preparation and service. Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
