Part Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant
Our client, a long-established firm of Accountants based in Sandwich, is seeking a dedicated and ambitious individual to join their team.Requirements:
* Good academic background with a willingness to learn new skills and grow in your role.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
* Minimum of two years' experience in an accountancy practice.
* Ideally, a minimum of 2 years practice experience required.
* Part-qualified or fully qualified candidates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of sole trader, partnership, and limited company accounts.
* Preparation of personal, partnership, and corporation tax returns.
* Preparation of VAT and CIS returns, along with processing payroll and pensions as required.
* Utilisation of software packages such as Xero, Sage 50, and VT.
* Experience with BTC Practice Software is advantageous, but training will be provided.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
* Correspondence with clients and agencies such as HMRC.
* Knowledge of UK GAAP, ideally with an understanding of FRS102 and FRS105.
* Work as an effective team member to ensure all client deadlines and requirements are met.
