Overview
Priority Candidates will be considered in the first instance. Salary: Grade 10, £45,091 - £49,282 per annum. 37 hours per week. Permanent. The service is based at The Care Leavers Hub, Platt Bridge, WN2 5B.
Role purpose
You will put young people at the heart of everything you do. You will work with young people aged 16–25 who are care experienced. An Advanced Practitioner is a critical role within the team, offering mentoring, coaching and practice expertise to less experienced team members. The role includes depth of expertise, including assessment and appropriate risk management.
Responsibilities
* Provide mentoring and coaching to less experienced team members to support staff development.
* Lead good quality, young person/adult centred practice across the service.
* Demonstrate effective leadership and work with Team Managers to ensure statutory requirements and standards are met.
* Be flexible to the needs of the young people supported by the service.
About you / Qualifications
* Advanced Practitioner with the expertise to support staff in their roles and to lead practice improvements.
* Ability to deliver and lead high-quality practice with young people and adults at the centre of service delivery.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to work alongside managers to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and standards.
* Flexibility to meet the needs of the young people supported.
