Senior Clinical Skills Trainer
We are seeking a dynamic, proactive individual to join our Clinical Skills Training Team as a Senior Clinical Skills Trainer. The Clinical Skills Training Team within The Christie Institute for Cancer Education provides effective generic clinical skills training and support for a range of Nursing and Allied Health Professionals, and Healthcare Support Workers.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate the operational and day-to-day work of the clinical skills training service in designated clinical areas, working closely with Departmental Managers, Clinical Educators, Specialist Practice Educators (SACT), clinical staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
* Deliver planned generic clinical skills and SACT training sessions, and provide a trust-wide Alertive bleep service.
* Cross‑cover clinical skills and SACT training in other designated clinical areas during absence.
* Monitor and supervise The Christie Care Certificate and identified medical‑devices training processes alongside specific Leads for new staff.
