Community First Aider (Staffordshire, Shropshire & Wolverhampton)
Make a difference with St John Ambulance and become a lifesaver in your community. Gain new skills, support others, and be the hero your community needs!
At St John Ambulance, we are looking to develop our volunteering offer and become an even more integral part of our communities through delivering community first aid and education.
We need people who have a passion for helping others, care about their communities, and want to make a difference by supporting them to become safe and more resilient through sharing your first aid skills and knowledge. As a Community First Aider, you’ll deliver first aid at local events and provide education to the public to expand the ripple effect of First Aid.
By supporting the growth of community partnerships, you will help bring people into our cause, grow our membership and fundraising base, and spread the message that First Aid Saves Lives.
Volunteering as a Community First Aider offers a great sense of satisfaction and pride in delivering an essential service. It’s beneficial for you, your community, and our nation, requiring only a small time commitment.
We will ensure you have access to a proper induction and the necessary training for your role. A supportive environment will be provided during your volunteering. Details about our volunteer roles are included in the role descriptions, along with what you can expect from SJA and what we expect from volunteers, as outlined in the volunteer charter.
Note: This role is part of the relaunch of the new Telford Network.
Closing date for applications: 07/06/2025
