Description
ITN is one of the largest independent production companies in the UK, responsible for award-winning news programmes for ITV, C4, and C5. Our broadcast division and ITN Productions deliver documentaries, films, sports, and corporate content for clients such as Netflix and Google.
We are seeking a Staffing Coordinator to support our Technology department's management team. The role involves planning and maintaining staff and freelance rosters for news production and other projects, as well as supporting company-wide workforce management as a system administrator.
Key Responsibilities
* Create, publish, and maintain rosters for staff and freelancers in the Technology department.
* Adjust rosters to meet programme needs, considering costs and guidelines.
* Monitor working hours and manage overtime according to policies.
* Onboard and book freelancers, ensuring compliance with tax and employment laws.
* Authorize weekly cost sheets, documenting expenditures.
* Coordinate with planning teams for additional projects and special programmes.
* Support other Admin staff in Tech Admin as needed.
* Apply HR policies to address staffing issues effectively.
* Create weekly call sheets for staff distribution.
* Generate reports for the wider business.
* Train and act as super user for the workforce management system.
* Maintain the workforce management system and resolve issues.
* Support other functions within Technology as required.

Key Requirements

* Understanding of financial impacts of decisions.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and Teams.
* Experience with managing rosters and roster software is a plus.
