Job Description:
As an Upstream Risk Manager, you’ll be supporting the identification and management of regulatory changes that materially impact the bank. You’ll be managing a portfolio of strategic upstream requirements, providing expert advice on the regulatory framework and interpreting policy rules, supporting both the conduct and prudential agendas.

Job Responsibilities:
* Developing and delivering technical training to the front line
* Maintaining the bank-wide view of material upstream requirements through the upstream requirements lifecycle
* Anticipating, providing and influencing independent analysis, briefings and advice upon material upstream requirements including contributing to board, ExCo and committee reports
* Promoting a culture of awareness and responsiveness to regulatory risk
Job Requirements:
* Good interpersonal, collaboration and organisational experience, including stakeholder management
* A good understanding of how conduct and prudential regulations impact banking activities
* Good research, information gathering and report writing capabilities
* The ability to translate complex information into business focused intelligence
* Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* The ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative with minimal supervision
