A well-established construction specialist is seeking a Design Manager to lead the delivery of complex structural and industrial construction projects. This role would suit a Design Manager with experience across industrial or specialist fit-out projects, who is comfortable managing multidisciplinary teams from post-tender through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
* Project and Design Management
o Lead the process from post-tender through to project completion
o Coordinate architects, engineers, and specialist subcontractors
o Manage programmes, technical queries, and change control
o Identify, manage, and mitigate design and construction-related risks
* Team and Stakeholder Coordination
o Communicate intent clearly to internal and external teams
o Ensure alignment between development and site delivery
o Act as the central point of contact
* Quality and Compliance
o Ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, and industry standards
o Carry out reviews and technical audits
o Undertake site visits to ensure works align with approved designs
* Client Engagement
o Liaise with clients to understand requirements and project constraints
o Provide practical, buildable solutions
o Support the project team in managing client expectations
About You
* Background in construction, industrial build architecture, structural engineering, or industrial fit-out
* Experience as a Design Manager, Design Coordinator, or similar role
* Experience in industrial or large-scale fit-out environments is highly desirable
* Working knowledge of BIM and design coordination processes
* Organised, proactive, and confident coordinating multiple stakeholders
