MIG and TIG Welder – Letchworth
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced MIG and TIG Welder in Letchworth to fabricate and weld high-quality metal components to precise engineering standards within a busy manufacturing environment.
Location: Letchworth
Salary: £14.00 – £28.00 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities
1. Fabricate and weld components using MIG and TIG welding techniques
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
3. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
4. Carry out quality inspections on welds and finished products
5. Maintain a clean and organised workshop at all times
6. Follow all health and safety procedures consistently
7. Repair and modify existing components when required
8. Work closely with colleagues to improve output and efficiency
Essential Skills & Experience
9. Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
10. Strong fabrication knowledge across various metals
11. Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
12. High attention to detail and commitment to quality
13. Good understanding of workshop safety standards
14. Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or within a team
