ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an important role, ensuring the safe, secure, and efficient management of our stock. Experience in this area is essential, particularly with inward and outbound goods, managing stock inventory, forecasting, preparing orders for sale, and shipping goods.
While this is a managerial role, it is also hands-on. Dermapure Clinical has doubled its sales in the last 18 months, and we anticipate continued growth, leading to larger premises and an increasingly managerial role. We’re seeking someone excited by future prospects and the opportunity to develop this role.
The role will be based at our head office in Surrey.
RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS
· Working on Sage 200, our accounts and stock management system
· Proficient with Excel spreadsheets
· Collaborate with our accounts team regarding stock control and ordering
· Manage goods inward, logging and storing all goods accordingly
· Manage and optimize storage space, planning for future capacity
· Oversee the safe, clean, and tidy daily operation of the warehouse
· Manage stock control, including reordering, product lifespans, and stocktakes
· Prepare sales orders for shipping, ensuring goods are packaged safely and securely
· Liaise with the sales team regarding sales order issues
· Negotiate courier services and manage courier relationships
· Prepare and ship trade show goods, ensuring timely delivery and readiness for exhibition
· Responsible for warehouse security and health and safety
· Conduct yourself professionally, supporting the business, suppliers, clients, and team members
· Represent our business and brands appropriately
· Be prepared to travel for meetings and industry events
· Perform tasks outside your immediate job description when necessary for the benefit of the business
· Possess excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
· A keen interest in the skincare sector is beneficial
