Join our Living Places team as a Traffic Management Manager and you'll be part of it. This role supports the Project Delivery teams through traffic management planning, coordinating, and booking road space for delivery of inspections and projects. To Manage and Deliver all directly employed Temporary Traffic Management on the contract and support the delivery of all contracted TM working across a vast range of Reactive, Minor Works sites and Capital schemes. What you'll be doing As a Traffic Management Manager, you will have the following accountabilities: Accountable to Reactive Delivery Manager for organising resources to carry out contracted works, and for ensuring that the works are completed safely, to the required quality, on time and within budget. Be accountable for your safety, and the safety of your colleagues as part of your personal safety commitment, Make Safety Personal Work in a way that furthers the values and reputation of Balfour Beatty with reference to safety, customer care and high-quality service delivery whilst ensuring all project KPIs are exceeded. Responsibility for ensuring the quality and efficiency of TTM works on site. Maintaining discipline in the workforce. Support in the review of site-specific RAMS for complex locations for example level crossings Assisting in managing and auditing TM related sub-contractors. Along with attending Supply Chain 360 review meeting where required. Leads implementation and development of Contract TM Quality Plan, RAMS, SSOW and ITPs Lead TM innovation and implementation on contract. Who we're looking for You will have the following: Qualifications NHSS Lantra TSCO NHSS Lantra M7 CSCS card holder Supervisor Well organised with the ability to plan own workload in an efficient manner Strong IT skills including confidence to learn to use new systems Experience of planning and coordinating traffic management activities for highways activities Knowledge and experience of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards within a highway Current UK driving license The ability to communicate verbally with clarity and authority to engage operatives, colleagues, and management.
