Toolmaker Mon - Thurs 13:30pm - 22:00 & Friday is 12:00pm - 18:00pm Permanent Dudley Toolmaker Job Description Manufacture, fit, trial, debug, and modify press tooling by interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance, including stripping, inspecting, repairing, and rebuilding tooling, jigs, and gauges. Diagnose machine and tooling issues, attend breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime. Operate a range of workshop machinery, hand tools, CAD software, and precision measuring equipment to produce and verify tooling components. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while supporting productivity improvements, reporting requirements, and efficient manufacturing operations.
