CNC Lathe Programmer/Setter/Operator
Responsibilities:
* Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software based on engineering drawings and specifications.
* Using Machinery such as - Hardridge, Mazak and Citizen
* Using Fanuc controls
* Set up CNC machines by selecting and installing the necessary tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
* Safely and efficiently operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
* Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy and quality.
* Conduct regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to keep the equipment in optimal condition.
* Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments as required.
* Collaborate with design engineers and production staff to ensure efficient production processes.
* Continuously improve productivity, efficiency, and quality by optimizing CNC programs and processes.
* Follow safety protocols and adhere to all workplace health and safety guidelines.
* Maintain clean and organized work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator or in a similar role.
* Proven CNC Lathe machinery experience
* Proficiency in CNC programming and operating software
* Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and cutting parameters.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality parts.
