Overview
The post-holder will be an advanced nurse practitioner and will be responsible for the management of a defined caseload (patients/service-users), and will provide highly specialist nursing support, advice, education, and/or care, to that specific group. They will carry continuing responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care, including setting of standards of care, and support in establishing evidence-based practice within Endometriosis. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will support the ongoing care needs of this cohort of women. They will manage expectations and support ongoing care needs and symptom control. This involves a key responsibility to audit the overall performance of the service against National guidelines.

Responsibilities
* Provide advanced nursing leadership for a defined caseload of patients with Endometriosis.
* Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care; set standards of care and support evidence-based practice within the service.
* Audit service performance against National guidelines and inform service improvements.
* Support ongoing care needs, symptom control, and management expectations for the cohort of women.
Qualifications and experience
* Qualified nurse with NMC registration.
* Current practice as a nurse specialist with experience in women\'s health.
* Enthusiastic about women\'s health, motivated for change management, and capable of leading and shaping the service.
* Experience suitable for a Band 7 role; ability to develop and integrate this role within gynae services and advocate for women\'s health.
