HGV Class 2 Driver – Crawley

Driver Hire Gatwick is currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to work from our client’s Crawley depot, working with Palletts. You will be doing on average about 10-15 drops daily, some local and some SouthEast
The client is well established and has be growing over the years, and they are part of TPN. They would offer upskilling for the right candidates and there will be the need to driver different vehicles etc.
The Role
*
Delivering palletised freight across the South of England
*
General haulage duties
*
Start times between 0730 – Finish
*
Conducting daily vehicle checks in line with Health & Safety requirements
*
Ensuring compliance with driver hours and road safety regulations
*
Safe loading and unloading of goods
About You
*
At least 6 months of HGV 2 experience
*
CPC and Digital Tachograph card
*
No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements: CD/IN/DR/TT)
*
Able to operate vehicles safely and responsibly
*
Comfortable ensuring strapping loads and securing freight
*
PPE required: Hi-Vis and Safety Boots
*
Own transport required to commute to and from the depot
*
Must comply with all on-site health and safety procedures

Crawley (drivers must live within 20 miles)
Pay & Benefits
*
£18.00 per hour (Umbrella rate).
*
Take home pay for 40h circa £550 pw (AVG Hours worked is 45 so earning around £600 pw depending on Tax codes and HMRC requirements)

Ongoing work and Temp to perm for the right candididate
