In this role, the Warehouse Team Leader will report into the Warehouse Supervisor, and will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse tasks, from accurate inventory management to handling all stages of product movement (receiving, storing, picking, and shipping). You will be responsible for directing staff, coordinating with carriers, ensuring a safe work environment, and implementing efficiency improvements to reduce waste.
This role would suit candidates with a strong background working in fast paced warehouse environments and previous experience of supervising or leading others. Experience within the within the automotive or HGV industry is desirable but not essential. You should have sound knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodology and good IT literacy.

The Role:
1. Warehouse Team Leader reporting into Warehouse Supervisor
2. Allocate work to Warehouse Operatives
3. Manage product movement activities; receiving, storing, picking, and shipping
4. Schedule customer collections and manage with carriers
5. 40 hours per week, bi-weekly shift pattern: 8:30PM - 5:50PM / 10:00AM - 7:00PM (Monday - Friday)
The Person:
6. Proven experience as a Warehouse Team Leader
7. Sound knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodology
8. Experience working in the automotive or HGV parts industry is desirable but not essential
9. Computer literate with good knowledge of MS office packages
