We’re partnering with a fast-growing specialist consultancy that helps organisations turn complex, high-volume telemetry into meaningful, decision-ready insight.
They’re looking for a Security Architect who can bridge the gap between business outcomes and engineered solutions, someone comfortable leading discovery with senior stakeholders and designing scalable telemetry pipelines that actually deliver value.
This isn’t a SOC monitoring role. It’s a design-led, client-facing position focused on shaping and delivering modern security and observability data platforms.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading structured discovery sessions with customers to understand data sources, challenges, objectives and constraints
* Translating business and security goals into practical telemetry architecture
* Defining patterns for ingestion, enrichment, filtering and cost optimisation
* Supporting engineers in implementing scalable, resilient data flows
* Advising on SIEM, security data lakes and observability platform integration
* Creating reusable onboarding patterns, documentation and operational standards
What We\'re Looking for
* 5+ years in security, telemetry engineering, SIEM architecture or similar
* Experience designing (not just configuring) telemetry pipelines
* Strong experience in SIEM tools such as Splunk or Sentinel
* Strong understanding of detection concepts and how telemetry maps to use cases
* Familiarity with modern data routing and transformation tooling
* Awareness of cost drivers in high-volume ingest environments
* Confidence running client workshops and communicating with both engineers and exec stakeholders
* Experience across both security and observability environments would be a strong advantage.
