Legal Receptionist / Office Manager
Location: Saxmundham, Suffolk
Hours: Full time – Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
A friendly and well-established law firm in the heart of Saxmundham is looking for an organised, confident and personable individual to join our team as a Legal Receptionist / Office Manager.
This is a key role at the centre of our firm. You will be the first point of contact for clients while also ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. We are looking for someone who is professional, proactive, and comfortable managing a varied workload in a busy legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcoming clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
* Handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
* Managing appointments,
* Opening and closing files, scanning, filing, and general administration
* Assisting fee earners with administrative tasks as required
* Overseeing office supplies, post, and facilities management
* Supporting compliance and general office procedures
* Liaising with suppliers and service providers
* Ensuring the office runs efficiently on a daily basis
* Any other additional duties that may be required from time to time to meet business needs
About You
* Previous experience in a legal environment as a receptionist, legal secretary, or office management role preferred
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
* Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
* Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
* Competent with Microsoft Office and general office systems
* Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
* Discreet and able to handle confidential information appropriately
