A welcoming secondary school in Middlesbrough is looking for a Geography Teacher with QTS – or a strong Humanities specialist – to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire curiosity, spark discussion, and make a real difference in the lives of young people.
What you’ll be doing:
Teaching engaging, well-planned Geography lessons (and Humanities where needed)
Inspiring students to think critically and explore big ideas
Creating a positive, supportive classroom environment where every learner can thrive
Contributing to curriculum development, enrichment activities, and exam prep
Working closely with colleagues who value teamwork and innovation
What we’re looking for:
QTS and eligibility to work in the UK
Strong subject knowledge in Geography (or Humanities with a Geography focus)
A teacher who brings energy, creativity, and a love of learning into the classroom
Someone confident in behaviour management and committed to student progress
A reflective practitioner who enjoys sharing ideas and growing professionally

Location: Middlesbrough
Contract: Full-time, long-term (with permanent potential)
Start date: ASAP (flexible for the right candidate)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
