Role: Mixing Operative
Location: Elland, West Yorkshire
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm (5 days a week) or 6am – 4:30pm ( 4 days a week)
XCL Group are currently recruiting for a Production Operative for a manufacturing client based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Main purpose of the role would be work on the chemical mixing machines, as well as help out in other departments if and when needed.
Duties may include but not limited to:
· Operating manual and automated machinery
· Manual lifting
· Organising and ensuring goods are sorted in a timely manner in the correct areas and is accurately accounted for.
· Quality inspection of products
· To comply with 5S standards.
· Flexibility to work in all areas and assist team members
· Undergo additional training as and when required
· Abide to all health and safety standards at all times including wearing the correct PPE
Requirements
· Experience in a similar role as a Production Operative
· Ability to get to and from the company during unsociable hours
· Be involved with manual handling, some of which may be heavy products/ materials.
Preferred Skills
· Good English both verbally and written
· Organised
· Ability to work in a fast pace environment
· Any relating qualifications/certificates
· Understanding of 5s
