The Role
Our client is seeking a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver (7.5T) to join their distribution team based in Crawley, West Sussex. As the face of the company, the ideal candidate will be positive, reliable, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
In addition to driving duties, the successful applicant will assist with warehouse operations as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving & Delivery
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisation.
Submit all documentation to management on time.
Complete deliveries using the EPOD mobile link system.
Safely load, unload, and handle products—may include heavy lifting.
Drive safely and follow all road laws and regulations.
Keep the company vehicle clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle checks.
Follow all statutory tacho and break rules.
Adhere to pre-planned routes unless directed otherwise.
Contact customers regarding delivery timings, issues, or delays.
Communicate route or delivery changes promptly to management.
Report any obstacles preventing safe, efficient deliveries.
Warehouse & Operational Support
Ensure orders and collection notes are correctly recorded and monitored.
Follow procedures for delivery/collection discrepancies (e.g., shortages, overs).
Pick, pack, check, and dispatch orders to required standards and deadlines.
Assist with goods-in and replenishment of stock locations.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse and yard.
Clear spillages promptly and minimise waste.
Participate in general warehouse duties when required.
Suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and add value.
Experience & Qualities:
* Full 7.5T driving licence (C1) with no more than 3 penalty points.
* Driver CPC qualification.
* Digital tachograph card.
* Previous multi-drop or warehouse delivery experience.
* Good verbal communication skills.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Team-focused mindset and strong work ethic.
* Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
* Basic understanding of warehouse processes (picking, loading, dispatch).
* Good knowledge of road networks and geography.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 13h00-22h00.
