Job Description:
We are excited to be growing our bar team at Cinque Ports, the beautiful Georgian pub with stunning sea views, located next to Dreamland. Cinque Ports is known as the place to go before and after gigs at the iconic Dreamland, which hosts top music acts. Shifts vary throughout the year, from daytime to late night, to suit different schedules. We seek experienced, friendly, professional team players with excellent customer service skills. Previous applicants will not be considered.
Working Hours
Dreamland offers shifts Monday – Sunday during summer, covering park days and events. Hours at Cinque Ports range from 11am to 1am, depending on events and school holidays. During regular days, open Thursday to Sunday, 4-11pm, with 12pm openings on weekends.
Main Responsibilities
Providing excellent customer service, clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness, preparing and serving drinks including cocktails and coffees, and managing stock using electronic systems. Roles may include front of house and back of house tasks. Willingness to perform either role is required.
Uniform and Parking
Black tops (no logos), dark jeans (no rips), trainers. Free parking available nearby; paid parking in Dreamland Carpark from £1.50-£9.00 depending on shift length.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience, good communication, and ability to stay calm under pressure are essential. Cocktail and Barista experience are preferred.
