We are currently partnering with a housing association in Portishead, who are recruiting for an Electrician to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time position with a salary of up to £41,422 per annum and the start date is subject to notice. The role offers a mix of responsive maintenance, upgrades and compliance-focused electrical work, with a strong emphasis on delivering a high-quality service to residents. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Carrying out electrical repairs, rewires, inspections and testing within occupied and void properties Diagnosing faults, completing remedial works and producing all relevant certification and compliance documentation Undertaking electrical installation works on both 230v and 400v systems in line with current regulations Supporting ongoing testing, inspection and electrical upgrade programmes across the housing stock Installing and maintaining energy-efficient and carbon-reducing electrical technologies. Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a first time-fix standard Essential: NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Full UK Driving Licence Domestic repairs and maintenance experience Desirable: 2391 Testing & Inspection qualifications Social housing experience Experience completing EICRs, testing and fault finding Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
