Overview

Responsibilities
* Maintain and improve the highway network and support environmental compliance at landfill sites.
* Use data, inspections and innovative approaches to manage assets, assess risk, support capital programmes and ensure compliance with legislation.
* Provide input to decision‑making and influence real, positive change across the borough.
Requirements
* Fluent in English (required under Part 7 of the Immigration Act for the effective performance of a customer‑facing role).
* Access to a car and willingness to travel throughout the borough for site visits and meetings.
* Demonstrated experience in highway asset management or a related engineering field.
