We are looking to recruit a dynamic pharmacist to lead our clinical pharmacy service across Renal & General Medicine, including:
Renal Medicine & Dialysis
Diabetes & Endocrinology
Older Adults
You will lead an amazing team of Advanced Specialist Pharmacists, Foundation Pharmacists, Medicines Management Technicians and Medicines Management Assistants, proving the best possible care to our patients.
You will work alongside our Advanced Clinical Lead Pharmacist for Emergency Medicine and our Advanced Clinical Lead Pharmacist for Respiratory & Gastroenterology, to drive forward the Pharmacy Service to the wider Unplanned (Medicine) Care Group and implement new innovative ways of working.
We are passionate about investing in the training and development of our pharmacy staff and have a fully established Pharmacy Education and Training Team.
Be a visible pharmacy leader and role model with the accountability and responsibility for the provision and development of safe and cost-effective pharmacy services to the General Medicine Directorate.
Lead a team of highly skilled pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff working to deliver cutting edge pharmacy services.
Support the further develop of the clinical pharmacy workforce including the role of Medicines Management Technicians and Medicines Management Assistants.
Develop a strategic plan for the operational delivery of clinical pharmacy services to the General Medicine Directorate, supporting a positive patient experience, the medicines optimisation agenda and continuous improvement.
