We're looking for an Approvals & Certification Engineer to join a global engineering business in the Mid Wales / Shropshire region. This is a key role within the innovation team, making sure new technologies meet international standards and are ready for market.
You'll take ownership of product approvals and certification, working with external bodies such as UL, TUV and CE, while also collaborating closely with internal development teams. The role will suit someone with an electrical or electronic engineering background, who thrives on detail, enjoys working through standards, and can communicate clearly across teams and with external partners.
Day to day you'll be preparing declarations of conformance, keeping track of regulatory changes, and ensuring products meet the right compliance requirements. It's a chance to combine technical knowledge with real responsibility in helping shape the release of cutting-edge products.
To be considered, you'll need a degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and experience working with product standards, approvals, or certification processes. Knowledge of variable speed drives would be useful, but what matters most is accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with people inside and outside the business.
