In this role, you will account manage logistics service delivery for a key client account which will require frequent travel to multiple sites.
Job Description
3. Manage and develop client accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
4. Coordinate logistics operations to meet client requirements efficiently.
5. Monitor and analyse transport and distribution processes for improvement opportunities.
6. Collaborate with internal teams in production/warehouse/planning/transport to ensure seamless service delivery.
7. Prepare and present reports on account performance and logistics operations.
8. Address and resolve any client concerns promptly and effectively.
9. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
10. Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Logistics Account Manager should have:
11. A strong background in the transport and distribution industry in 3PL Logistics Management for FMCG or Retail client accounts.
12. Experience managing client accounts and maintaining professional relationships.
13. Proficiency in coordinating logistics and planning operations.
14. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills for process optimisation.
15. Highly proficient is utilisation of data metrics to improve performance.
16. Familiarity with data management and using data to drive solutions.
17. Effective communication and organisational abilities.
18. A comprehensive understanding of industry regulations and compliance.
19. An initiative-taking and purposeful approach to the development of client accounts to maximise impact and service delivery.
20. Ideally International Transport Manager CPC and NEBOSH Gen Cert qualified.
