Overview
We invite you to join our Mental Health Occupational Therapy Service in Fife. Our dedicated team of Occupational Therapists and healthcare support workers serves adults aged 18 and over with mental health problems. The role spans multiple sites, overseeing occupational therapy delivery in both community and in‑patient settings, while prioritising clinical risk and demand across the service.
Responsibilities
* Provide occupational therapy to patients in community and in‑patient settings, using autonomous clinical decision‑making and evidence‑based practice to help them achieve personal outcomes.
* Contribute to service redesign and transformation, supporting the re‑shaping of how occupational therapy services are developed and delivered in Fife.
* Participate in clinical and service development forums, supervision frameworks, and protected CPD and in‑service training opportunities.
* Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high‑quality care, demonstrating professionalism, ingenuity, and resilience.
Qualifications & Experience
* Band 6 Occupational Therapist, or Band 5 Occupational Therapist seeking the next step in their career.
* Experience or strong interest in mental health occupational therapy with a commitment to professional development.
