Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Salary: £31,279 to £33,705 (sleep allowance included)
Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and motivated individual to join a children’s residential service in Wisbech as a Children's Residential Support Worker. This role involves supporting 12- to 18-year-olds with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Key Responsibilities:
* Encourage young people to participate in activities and take responsibility for their own lives, appropriate to their age.
* Maintain a homely, friendly environment within the residential setting.
* Deal with challenging behaviours safely and sympathetically.
* Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare.
* Support young people in promoting their independence and overall well-being.
* Ensure a safe environment and keep up-to-date with individual care plans, guidelines, and communication methods.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's lives.
Requirements:
* Experience as a Children’s Residential Support Worker or with young people is desirable but not essential.
* Experience within healthcare or social care settings is advantageous.
* Must hold a full UK manual driving licence, as transportation of young people may be required.
* Must be over the age of 21.
* Ability to commute to Wisbech
