Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role involves managing staff, driving sales, and ensuring the store operates efficiently and profitably. The successful applicant will play a vital part in maintaining our brand reputation and fostering a positive shopping environment for customers.

Responsibilities

* Knowledge of sales techniques

* Good understanding of the product or service being sold

* Familiarity with cash and credit handling procedures

* Record-keeping associated with sales activities

* Supervising and supporting sales staff on a daily basis

* Monitoring individual and team sales performance

* Assisting in training and onboarding new sales team members

* Handling customer queries, complaints, and escalations

* Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

* Managing stock levels and coordinating with inventory teams

* Preparing sales reports and maintaining performance records

* Assisting in setting sales targets and implementing promotional activities

Experience required:

1-2 year experience in retail business

Excellent communication skills in English

Any certifications

Able to use accounting software and excel sheets

Skills

* Proven management experience within retail or sales management roles.
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and supervise teams effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
* Organisational skills with an aptitude for time management and prioritising tasks efficiently.
* Demonstrated experience in merchandising, visual presentation, and stock control.
* Administrative experience including reporting, record keeping, and utilisation of retail management software.
* Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of store management.
