Environmental Advisor - PeterboroughJob DescriptionCostain is the Construction Management Organisation (\\\"CMO\\\") with responsibility for management of the capital replacement and upgrade programme to be undertaken by Cadent\\\'s supply chain and direct workforce. Central to Costain\\\'s role will be the strategic planning and programme management of Cadent\\\'s capital investment programme, with a focus on delivering improved regulatory performance and future proofing the network for the benefit of Cadent\\\'s customers.The Environmental Advisor will support the Contract Environmental functions, provide, and support the development of Environmental solutions and enable the Contract / Operational Teams to implement the SHE Management System.You will build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, whilst providing an independent and objective view of Environmental Performance on the Contract.#LI-AW1Responsibilities Support and influence the Contract Operational and Supply Chain Teams and build relationships with Stakeholders to successfully implement the SHE Management System Support and where required deliver training, to allow the contract team to successfully implement the SHE Management System Support the Contract Operational and Supply Chain Contractors in the delivery of the Contract Environmental requirements Be actively involved in providing feedback on the performance in the ongoing assessment of the Contracts Supply Chain Contractors Actively support the delivery of the annual Contract and Group SHE Objectives Actively engage with the Contract Environmental Assurance programme to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements Actively support the investigation of all unplanned events and close out of assurance findings, ensuring lessons are shared in accordance with the SHE Management System Support the timely reporting, analysis, and use of Environmental data to support and influence the Contract Leadership Team QualificationsEssential Environmental related experience Environmental degree or equivalent AIEMA or equivalent Desirable PIEMA or equivalent Environment and sustainability modules within course About UsCostain helps to improve people\\\'s lives with integrated, leading edge, smart infrastructure solutions across the UK\\\'s energy, water, transportation and defence markets.
