SEN Teaching Assistant - Reading - ASAP Start
SEN in the Mainstream Primary (Graduates and Experience in SEN ideal). Supporting ASD or SEMH 1-2-1. SEN TA, ASD or SEMH support, Mainstream Primary School, Reading. Teaching Assistant Position, SEN experience ideal. Salary £89 - £100 per day. ASAP Start.
Responsibilities
* Work within a Year 1 or Year 4 class to support a pupil with Autism on a 1-2-1 basis.
* Support a pupil with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs (SEMH) on a 1-2-1 basis.
* Assist with reading, alongside Maths and English where appropriate, in a primary school setting.
* Help manage challenging behaviour and adapt to the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Qualifications / Experience
* Ideally educated to degree level; Level 3 and above accepted.
* Previous experience in a primary, secondary or SEN setting, or experience working with children in related environments (e.g., sports, childcare).
* Experience with SEN is desirable, particularly with pupils who have EHCPs.

* Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm.
* Daily pay rate: £89-£100 depending on experience.
