Job Purpose
We are looking for a commercially minded and proactive HR Business Partner to drive the execution of the people agenda across UK&I, directly partnering around 150 employees. This role combines strategic business partnering, hands‑on HR delivery, and transformation leadership, playing a critical role in establishing the standalone TMICC organisation while supporting leaders and teams across UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering, ER & Talent
- Drive the delivery of the UK&I people agenda, ensuring alignment with global TMICC priorities
- Partner with leaders to design and deliver organisation structures and change initiatives that enable growth and efficiency
- Lead workforce planning and oversee people costs, partnering with leadership teams to manage P&L and overheads
- Leverage HR data and insights to support decision‑making and improve business outcomes
- Own the talent agenda across UK&I, including attraction, development, succession planning, and capability building
- Manage employee relations cases end‑to‑end, ensuring compliance with UK&I employment law
- Support and coach line managers on performance, disciplinary, grievance, absence, and restructuring processes
- Build leadership capability through coaching, challenge, and targeted interventions
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and best practice across the business
- Own the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle, delivering a high‑quality employee experience
Standalone Organisation Transition & Transformation
- Drive the UK country HR agenda as part of the transition to a standalone organisation
- Design and implement HR frameworks, policies, governance, and people processes required for the new operating model
- Support implementation and stabilisation of HR systems (e.g. Workday, ServiceNow), including data validation and transition activities
- Ensure clear, simple, and timely communication to employees and leaders throughout the transformation
- Partner with global and regional teams to land new processes, tools, and ways of working
- Lead on various projects and initiatives relevant to the full UK&I geography, beyond direct business partnering scope (e.g. Immigration)
Culture & Engagement
- Champion and embed the Ice Cream Way culture across UK&I, ensuring alignment between behaviours, values, and business delivery
- Drive engagement initiatives to build an inclusive, high‑performing, and connected organisation
- Support leaders to role‑model expected behaviours and bring the culture to life in day‑to‑day interactions
- Leverage employee insights (e.g. People Survey) to translate feedback into clear, actionable improvements
- Foster a culture of accountability, development, and continuous improvement
What You Need To Succeed
- Proven HR Business Partnering experience in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland employment law and experience managing ER cases end‑to‑end
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability
- Experience in talent management, organisation design, and workforce planning
- Strong coaching capability with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders
- Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
- High agility and resilience, with experience navigating transformation and ambiguity
- Proven experience with HR Systems (Workday/Service Now)
