Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Safeguarding & Welfare Officer to join our dedicated team. The role involves working with students in need and their families to prevent children/students from becoming looked after and/or suffering significant harm. The successful candidate will support the Designated Safeguarding Lead in safeguarding and child protection matters, helping every student reach their potential.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience and knowledge of CAF/TAC processes
* High-level understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection policies
* Experience working with vulnerable families and students
* Ability to make complex decisions regarding child and parent safety, understanding LA thresholds for social services, police, and medical involvement
