Overview
Support the operational management of the catering service as part of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. You will play a key role in delivering high quality food services to patients, visitors and staff, working in collaboration with other departments and support services.
Responsibilities
* Ensure consistent delivery of high standards of food quality and service across the catering operation.
* Maintain adequate staffing levels in line with agreed rotas and shift patterns to meet service demands.
* Supervise and support Catering Supervisors and Catering Assistants, ensuring effective team performance.
* Work collaboratively with other departments and support services to ensure an efficient and responsive catering operation.
* Ensure full compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
* Monitor service delivery and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Assist in training, development and performance management of catering staff.
Working Pattern
Working every other weekend with days off in the week.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience in a catering or food service environment.
