Senior Internal Account Manager
Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (OTE: £50,000)
Overview
TCS Consulting is recruiting for an Internal Account Manager to support field-based Regional Business Managers, deliver strong customer service, and help grow an established UK customer base. This role sits within an international team and offers clear development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide proactive customer service and maintain regular contact with existing customers to build long-term relationships.
• Manage orders, quotes, forecasts, contracts, and ensure all account information is accurate.
• Qualify enquiries, offer pricing, follow up on quotes and samples, and close business confidently.
• Support Regional Business Managers with daily communication, appointment scheduling, joint customer visits, and sales activities.
• Help grow smaller or fluctuating accounts, retain customers, and increase sales and part numbers.
• Advise customers on commercial and basic technical questions and take part in customer video calls and sales meetings.
• Take ownership of tasks and deliver a high response rate within 24 hours.
Candidate Profile
• Minimum 2 years in a similar role, ideally with PCB, electronics, manufacturing, or customised product experience.
• Strong communication and listening skills, with the confidence to make decisions and close business quickly.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, positive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Target-driven with good time management and a willingness to learn and develop.
• Comfortable travelling for international training or customer visits.
• Takes pride in their work and ownership of their role.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
