We’re supporting a leading aerospace manufacturer who are seeking skilled Sheet Metal Workers and Mechanical Fitters to join their team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
* Fabrication, fitting, and assembly of aircraft parts and structures.
* Interpreting detailed engineering drawings and technical schematics.
* Working to tight tolerances and maintaining the highest quality standards.
* Using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
* Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or Mechanical Fitter within the aerospace or defence sector.
* Strong understanding of aircraft structures, assemblies, and repair techniques.
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
* Experience in production or MRO environments highly desirable.
* Must have the right to work in the UK.
