The Technical Presales Engineer at Teceze plays a pivotal role in designing, positioning, and articulating modern digital workplace solutions for clients across industries.
This role combines technical expertise, consultative solutioning, and client engagement to help customers modernise their end-user environments through EUC modernization, Device-as-a-Service (DaaS), automation, and AI-driven employee experience platforms.
You will collaborate closely with the sales, delivery, and engineering teams to build technically sound, cost-effective, and scalable solutions — covering device lifecycle management, ServiceNow workflows, smart lockers & vending automation, field support operations (FSO), TechBar setups, DEX analytics, and conversational AI agents.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Architecture
* Lead technical presales efforts for EUC, DaaS, and Digital Workplace solutions.
* Design device lifecycle management frameworks — from procurement to retirement (IMACD, asset management, patching, disposal).
* Architect DaaS models incorporating OEM/vendor ecosystems, cloud provisioning, and endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, JAMF).
* Create ServiceNow-based workflows for incident, request, change, and asset management processes.
* Design and integrate smart locker and IT vending machine solutions for self-service device issuance and return.
* Support TechBar and FSO (Field Support Operations) solution rollouts — defining capacity, technology stack, staffing, and user experience models.
* Incorporate DEX (Digital Employee Experience) metrics and analytics tools (e.g., Nexthink, Lakeside, Aternity) into proposals.
* Develop automation and AI agent use cases using chatbots, ServiceNow Virtual Agent, and custom LLM-based assistants for IT support automation.
2. Presales Engagement & Bid Support
* Partner with account managers and solution architects to develop technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and customer presentations.
* Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical solutions.
* Demonstrate Teceze’s solution capabilities via POCs, demos, and workshops.
* Build solution cost models, BoMs, and support effort estimates with delivery input.
* Ensure proposed solutions align with client SLAs, scalability, security, and compliance requirements.
* Participate in client pitches and provide technical leadership during bid defence sessions.
3. Technology Expertise & Demonstration
* Stay current with EUC and workplace innovations — including automation platforms, AI agents, and DEX solutions.
* Develop and maintain demo environments, showcase labs, and accelerators for device lifecycle and digital workplace automation.
* Present technical roadmaps, migration paths, and modernization journeys to clients.
* Benchmark Teceze’s offerings against competitors and articulate differentiators clearly.
4. Collaboration & Handover to Delivery
* Work closely with delivery and engineering teams to ensure smooth project transitions.
* Create technical design documentation (HLD, LLD) and assist during early implementation stages.
* Validate that proposed solutions are deliverable within timelines and cost parameters.
* Provide technical mentorship to delivery and field teams where required.
5. Automation, AI & Innovation
* Lead design of AI and automation-enabled workplace support ecosystems, integrating chatbots, self-healing tools, and predictive analytics.
* Recommend technologies to enhance operational efficiency and user experience (ServiceNow, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, UiPath, etc.).
* Define KPIs for AI-driven IT support (deflection rate, FCR, MTTR reduction, DEX improvement).
* Identify opportunities for proactive device remediation, intelligent ticket routing, and context-aware virtual assistance.

Required Skills & Experience
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* Postgraduate qualification or technical certifications preferred
Professional Certifications
* ITIL Foundation (mandatory)
* Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator / Endpoint Manager / Intune
* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Implementation Specialist
* Certifications in DEX platforms (Nexthink, Aternity, etc.) preferred
* AI/Automation tools (UiPath, Power Automate, etc.) certifications desirable
Experience
* 6–10 years of experience in technical presales, solution architecture, or consulting within IT Infrastructure or EUC domains
* Proven experience designing and delivering device lifecycle management and DaaS solutions at scale
* Hands-on exposure to ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM, asset workflows, and integration
* Experience with smart locker / vending machine integrations for IT hardware logistics
* Knowledge of FSO / TechBar models, resource planning, and IT support automation
* Familiarity with DEX analytics, AI virtual agents, and automation in workplace support
* Ability to translate complex technical solutions into business value propositions
* Strong presentation and communication skills, especially for C-level and enterprise clients
