An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Clinical Psychologist (Staff Bank, Band 8a) to join the Neuropsychology team within NHS Highland. You will work clinically as part of our Neuropsychology team and multidisciplinary teams, while also working autonomously within professional guidelines and local policies. You will play a key role in service improvement, prioritizing patient and family-centred care.
Our team provides specialist Clinical Neuropsychology services to adults in Neurology and Neurorehabilitation across the North Highland Health and Social Care Partnership. Responsibilities include providing neuropsychological assessments, treatment, rehabilitation, and offering advice and consultation on neuropsychological care. The role involves inpatient and outpatient care, remote and clinic-based services, and both individual and group settings. Experience in clinical neuropsychology, remote interventions, and cognitive assessments is advantageous. You will also support the strategic development of neuropsychology services across pathways.
The NHS Highland Psychology department is supportive, dynamic, and regionally extensive, requiring innovative and adaptable approaches.
