This is a "Good" OFSTED-rated school which has been graded ‘Outstanding’ previously. The school is seeking a Drama Teacher who will readily engage with the school’s ethos and values. The role is open to experienced ECT Teachers. The role has the potential to become a permanent one and the school would consider a teacher who is looking to progress to become head of the drama department. Role: As a Drama Teacher, you need to possess good knowledge of the drama curriculum at all key stages. Maintain an organised and professional classroom with all the associated resources. Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school. Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback. Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these. Requirements: Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary school. Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching drama at the secondary school level. Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
