Teaching Assistant (Full Time / Part Time) - Newport
Salary: £444.60 – £509.60 per week (dependent on experience and qualifications)

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom teachers and helping pupils reach their full potential. Your responsibilities may include:
1. Supporting learning activities within the classroom
2. Working with small groups or providing one-to-one support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
3. Assisting pupils across the Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2
4. Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Flexibility, adaptability, and a genuine passion for working with children are essential for this role.
Requirements
5. Experience working with primary school-aged children
6. Experience supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
7. A strong commitment to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
8. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
9. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (support available)
10. Registration with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC) (support available)
11. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential
