We are looking for a highly organised and detail-driven
Quality Assurance Administrator
to support our Quality Manager and wider Quality team within a regulated engineering and fabrication environment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, documentation, and compliance — and who wants to build strong technical knowledge while working to recognised international standards.
What you'll be doing
* Supporting projects from enquiry stage through fabrication to final handover.
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract requirements for quality and compliance.
* Creating, issuing, and maintaining QA documentation, weld maps, and traceability records.
* Managing material, welding consumable, welder, NDT, and coating traceability.
* Coordinating inspection and testing activities, including NDT and pressure testing.
* Checking and collating certification for inclusion in Quality Dossiers and Lifetime Quality Records.
* Supporting non-conformance reporting, corrective actions, audits, and KPI data.
* Working within strict HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and client/government regulations.
Compliance & Standards
You'll work within the company's accredited management systems and safety culture, including:
* BS EN ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
* ISO 3834-2
* Nuclear safety and highly regulated client environments
What we're looking for
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Experience in a QA / Quality Admin role (engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing preferred).
* Confidence managing multiple workstreams and deadlines.
* Proficiency in
MS Word and Excel
(essential).
* Experience with
Adobe Acrobat Pro
(desirable).
* Willingness to develop technical knowledge in welding, fabrication, inspection, and coatings.
