Job Overview
We are recruiting Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) as part of the NHS‑funded Talking Therapies training programme. The role involves training and working within NHS Talking Therapies services delivering low‑intensity psychological interventions to adults.
Responsibilities
* Deliver low‑intensity psychological interventions to adults via NHS Talking Therapies services.
Qualifications
* Experience working with people experiencing psychological, interpersonal, or social difficulties (paid or voluntary).
* Ability to study at postgraduate level, evidenced by degree‑level education or academic equivalence.
* Right to work in the UK – visa sponsorship is not available.
* Applicants must remain employed within an NHS Talking Therapies service throughout the training year.
Training & Employment
Training is delivered by University College London (UCL) and is full‑time: trainees attend university one day per week and work in service four days per week. Course fees are fully funded by the NHS, and trainees are employed full‑time at NHS Band 4 for the duration of the programme.
Training intakes commence at the start of October 2026.
