We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, CPC-qualified Group Transport and Operations Manager to support the development of the Wishford Education Group.

Hours: Based at the group’s support office in the beautiful market town of Corsham, Wiltshire, but with some time spent in schools, this is a full-time, year-round role. Some flexible working is possible, and the work is varied and interesting.

The Role:
Working within the central team, the role is responsible for:
* All aspects of fleet safety and compliance including maintenance, driver training and licensing for a fleet of 21 PSV vehicles, 17 small minibuses and 6 ancillary vehicles
* Liaising with the Traffic Commissioner’s Office to ensure compliance with the terms of the Wishford Group’s Public Service Vehicle (PSV) licences.
* Health and Safety at Work.
* Training and CPD for support staff.
* Catering provision.

Experience & Skills:
* Essential - Hold a Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) for Public Service Vehicles.
* Maintaining compliance with Operator Licence undertakings
* Oversight of Health and Safety and operational risk management
* Desirable - recognised Health and Safety at Work qualification such as NEBOSH. Training can be provided if required.
* Demonstrable commercial knowledge and awareness of operations.
* Planning, organisational and influencing skills.
* Team management, leadership and coaching.
