The Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager with experience in contract furniture or office installations to join our team in Twickenham. You will work closely with senior project managers and the operations team to coordinate and deliver high-quality office furniture projects across London and the UK. This role is ideal for someone who has been exposed to office furniture installation projects and is ready to step up into a client-facing, project management position.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the planning, coordination, and execution of office furniture installation projects.
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
* Prepare project schedules, delivery notes, and installation plans.
* Monitor site progress, troubleshoot issues, and escalate when needed.
* Conduct site visits, attend client meetings, and ensure all health & safety standards are upheld.
* Manage project documentation, including quotes, purchase orders, and project close-out packs.
* Assist in budgeting and resource planning for projects.
* Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, customer satisfaction, and quality of service.
Requirements
* Experience in contract furniture, office furniture installations, or related industries is essential.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); familiarity with project management software is a plus.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail.
* Willingness to be hands-on and occasionally attend site during installations.
* Full UK driving licence preferred.
